My decision to become a therapist was a gradual evolution during my studies and early career. However, it was a transformative nine-month journey around the world in 2019 that solidified my commitment to this path. During that time, I rediscovered and reconnected with my authentic self. Identifying our true desires can be a complex and daunting process, and giving ourselves the permission to pursue them can be even harder. This is why I have profound respect and admiration for my clients who find the courage to begin their therapeutic journey. It is an act of bravery and self-compassion that I am honored to support.

Diverse Professional Background

I earned my degrees in Sociology and Environmental Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, which included enriching opportunities to study abroad in the United Kingdom and India. I have advanced my professional development through extensive coaching training at Gestalt Essence and completed the Basics of Crisis Intervention program at Remedium Prague. My professional experience spans Human Resources, including leadership roles, where I had the privilege of delivering lectures in esteemed locations such as New York City and Silicon Valley. Currently, I am completing my therapeutic training in Postmodern Therapy at the Gaudia Institute and am a candidate member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.

My practice is rooted in postmodernism, incorporating principles from systemic therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. At the same time, I maintain flexibility, integrating techniques from other therapeutic approaches as needed to best serve my clients. My primary goal is to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring they gain the most meaningful and relevant insights from our sessions. This approach may include elements from modalities such as Gestalt therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other proven methods. Recognizing that each person is unique, I tailor every therapeutic journey to align with the specific goals and circumstances of the client.

Coaching Services

In addition to therapy, I provide coaching services, primarily focused on work-related topics such as career transitions, time management, team dynamics, communication, burnout, and more. My coaching approach is rooted in the principles of Gestalt therapy, emphasizing the significance of the present moment and self-acceptance as catalysts for change. Coaching is goal-oriented and concentrates on actionable steps that can be taken in the here and now, fostering meaningful and positive transformations in your professional and personal life.


Practical information

Location
Consultations are available in person at Národní 11, Prague 1 (4th floor) or online via Google Meet or another agreed-upon platform.

Duration of Sessions
Individual consultations last 50 minutes, while sessions for couples are 75 minutes, unless otherwise arranged with your therapist.

Cancellation Policy
Once confirmed, your appointment is considered binding. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify your therapist via text message or email at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or rescheduling—within less than 48 hours—will incur a charge of 50% of the consultation fee.

Length of Cooperation
We offer both one-time consultations and longer-term therapeutic cooperation. One-time sessions can serve as focused counseling; however, most clients benefit from ongoing therapy, which allows for deeper exploration and understanding of their concerns. The frequency of sessions is always agreed upon collaboratively, with bi-weekly sessions over several months being the most common approach.

Price

The consultation fee with Lucia Rott is 1.800 CZK for a 50-minute individual session and 2.800 CZK for a 75-minute couples session.

To ensure smooth and efficient sessions, we kindly request online payment. After booking your consultation through our calendar, you can settle the payment promptly. Payment details will also be sent to you via email. Please ensure that payment is completed no later than the day of your scheduled session.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a paid session, this can be managed through the reservation system in accordance with our cancellation policy. Should online payment not be an option, please let us know, and we will gladly arrange an alternative payment method.
